Meet Dr. Bobby Fano, DC, MS, DGCSS

 

Dr. Bobby Fano, DC is a certified Gonstead chiropractor, entrepreneur, health/life coach, published author, product designer, world-traveling adventurer, and sought-after teacher. As a recognized authority on the Gonstead Technique, he has owned and operated six very successful clinics in five different states, has personally served over 150K patient visits within his 16 years of clinical experience, and has helped launch some of the best Gonstead chiropractors in the business. Dr. Bobby Fano, DC loves serving and giving through principled chiropractic and has the privilege of helping people from all around the world, frequently managing difficult spinal cases. Many within the professional music industry and performing arts trust his care. You can most often find him in the mountains or on the sea with his beautiful wife of 20 years and three children, practicing with his own family what he lovingly teaches his patients to do – live the Vertical Life.

 
  • 2008

    Doctor of Chiropractic

    Bobby Fano became a certified Gonstead instructor and served as Gonstead Study Club president at Life University, where he managed weekly meetings averaging 100 students each week, co-developed club-branded products, and raised money for the club. Additionally, he was instrumental in bringing back the Gonstead Extravaganza event to Life University and, because of his service to the school, was awarded a scholarship to complete his Master of Science in sports health science with a focus on sports injury management. As a student, he completed his Gonstead extremity certification and advanced extremity mentorship with the late Dr. Mark Werking, DC. Bobby Fano graduated from Life University with a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master of Science, and he’s been a Gonstead Clinical Studies Society member ever since. He is Webster Technique certified for pregnancy care by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has a large pregnancy practice.

    Vertical Chiropractic®

    Bobby Fano started his first private practice in Durango, Colorado, where Vertical Chiropractic® was birthed. Within six months of opening, He was serving over 300 patients weekly. Some of his patients traveled from as far away as Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico to seek his care. Serving and connecting with hundreds of patients per week gave him a unique perspective on quality case management and creating an exceptional patient experience.

    Gonstead Diplomate

    Three years into practice, Bobby Fano attended his first Meeting of the Minds event in Los Angeles, where he was awarded the status of Gonstead Diplomate along with advanced certification within the Gonstead Technique.

    Published Co-Author

    Along side of his most influential mentor and Gonstead Fellow, Dr. Linda Mullin DC, Bobby Fano had the great honor of co-authoring "Chronic Post Partum Osteitis Pubis Managed with Chiropractic" published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Pediatric, Maternal, and Family Health. This article was showcased as a poster presentation at the ACC Research Conference.

    California Bound

    Ready for his next adventure, Bobby Fano moved to California. He intended to take some time off and rest, but while doing life in this community, he encountered several people needing help through chiropractic. With a set of Gonstead tables and a Nervoscope available in his garage, he decided to take on a limited number of cases. He began serving several top ranked athletes within the competitive CrossFit community and helping others avoid surgery, and the referrals kept coming. After starting 100 patients at his home, he decided it was time to create his third clinic, this one with a modern industrial theme. Vertical Chiropractic® in Redding, California, opened in 2015, and Bobby Fano serves as lead chiropractor.

    Voted "Best In The Northstate"

    Vertical Chiropractic® was voted by the people of Redding as the “Best of the Northstate” for the category of Best Chiropractor through the Record Searchlight for three years in a row.

    Gonstead Clinical Studies Society

    In 2019, Dr. Bobby Fano, DC was elected by his peers to serve as a GCSS Board of Directors member. Dr. Bobby traveled and taught the Gonstead Technique nationally, including instructing the instrumentation pit class during the Gonstead Extravaganza hosted at the historical Gonstead Clinic in Mt. Horeb, WI. Additionally, Dr. Bobby has had the privilege of teaching chiropractic students onsite at Life University, Life Chiropractic College West, Los Angeles Chiropractic College, Parker Chiropractic College, and Palmer College of Chiropractic.

    Co-founder of Lifestyle Design with his wife Brandi, certified life and relationship coach, where they coach individuals, couples, and host life-changing events in beautiful destinations worldwide for clients that are ready and committed to the inside-out lifestyle, creating their ultimate love story, and stewarding their health physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually to the highest levels.

    Return to the Sunshine State

    16 years into practice while seeing hundreds of patients per week consistently, Dr. Bobby opened his 5th chiropractic clinic in Manatee County. After returning to his home state of Florida, Dr.Bobby still dedicates himself to specializing in the world-renowned Gonstead Technique. His extensive studies in biomechanics, exercise, health science, and injury management and his experience with pregnancy and pediatric development afford him a unique perspective of what works in healthcare—and what doesn’t. He recognizes that our bodies are created by intelligent design and is committed to families through corrective chiropractic care. Dr. Bobby Fano, DC is on a mission to grow and enhance the world-renowned Gonstead Technique by opening multiple clinics worldwide. His black belt team of creatives, vendors, and investors are focused on equipping Gonstead chiropractors to grow extraordinary practices from the inside-out.

    Downtown Sarasota Vibes

    The grand opening of the Vertical Chiropractic® flagship clinic in Downtown Sarasota - the beautiful city of the arts by the bay. Dr. Bobby, selected as the lead hands-on instructor of the Werking On Extremities seminar program, teaches students the specific approach to extremity care created by the late Dr. Mark Werking. His work is based on the Gonstead Method and his many years of clinical experience.

He also has been published in health columns for Joyful Living magazine, featured on the cover of North State Parent magazine, and is a frequent guest speaker at professional organizations in California and Florida.
